After record-breaking seasons at the Sydney Opera House and Adelaide Fringe; Blanc de Blanc Encore debuts at Spiegeltent Newcastle. With all the beautiful champagne-soaked debauchery from the original Blanc de Blanc, but with a sparkling new show.

It’s time to immerse yourself in the hedonistic, glamorous and extravagant world of vintage French flair, risqué humour, spectacular aerials, comedy and big dance numbers.

With its acclaimed international cast, this intoxicating Gatsby-esque ride astonishes and delights with its world-renowned brand of opulent, cheeky, edge-of-your-seat theatre, set inside the glittering Spiegeltent.

After a sensational season in 2019, Newcastle’s favourite pop-up festival The Spiegeltent is confirmed to return in 2022 and tickets are on sale now. Taking residence in Civic Park from 31 March – 1 May, the highly anticipated Spiegeltent Newcastle program returns with some big surprises.

Taking up residence in the opulent Spiegeltent is Blanc de Blanc Encore: the ultimate hedonistic night out - champagne-soaked, breath-taking, hilarious and adults only. The sequel to the celebrated 2018 show, Blanc de Blanc, Blanc de Blanc Encore pops the cork on a scintillating, steamy blend of breath-taking live jazz, thrilling circus tricks, side-splitting comedy, astounding acrobatics and risqué humour.

Joining the Spiegeltent Newcastle, and direct from Japan, is Maho Magic Bar, a bespoke Japanese venue and show.​​ Setting the night ablaze like a neon-lit happy snap of Shinjuku, Maho Magic Bar is unmissable. Step inside, and you will find a bespoke and gorgeously refined bar and entertainment space spread across six spacious performance areas. After taking your seat and selecting your drink of choice, consummate master magicians will perform your own exclusive magic show at your table - creating an unforgettable, multi-sensory and interactive experience unlike anything else. With its dazzling bespoke venue, captivating and awe inspiring show, delectable bar offering, and small capacity, Maho Magic Bar is a truly immersive experience . . . and a night out like no other.

We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to showtime, so you can find your seat and grab a drink without needing to rush. Local food options will also be available prior to the performance.

Audiences are also encouraged to embrace the dress code - vintage white with a touch of sparkle.

Vaccinations are not mandated to attend Blanc de Blanc Encore, however Spiegeltent Management strongly encourage full vaccination and booster shots to stay in line with any NSW Government and Department of Health directives that may arise.

Companion Cards

Spiegeltent Newcastle supports the Companion Card program. Tickets are available for the companion/carer of a patron who holds a companion card. They cannot be purchased online but can be issued by our team by emailing info@strutnfret.com. Customer companion ID is required.
